Lafayette Park study area

I have chosen Lafayette Park as my study area. This park is in St. Louis, MO and is of interest to me because I grew up playing in the park as a child. The park is 30 acres, has two ponds and many trees and plants (Lafayette Square, n.d.). I am curious to learn about biodiversity in the park. I would like to know if there is enough biodiversity and if not, what could be done to include more diversity. I am interested to engage in field work as the park is a convenient place for me to explore in person. I would also like to know about the quality of the water in the two ponds.
