USDA Soil Information

 The USDA Web Soil Survey website is an interesting resource to utilize when researching soil information. When creating an Area of Interest (AOI) one can see what soil data is available for that particular area of land. For instance. Lafayette Park has three types of soil including silt loam, silty clay loam, and clay loam. The website also includes information about what percentage of the area is urban, how much slope there is, elevation, and runoff class.
